Photodynamic therapy is an office based treatment for actinic keratoses (pre-cancers) and some forms of skin cancer. The therapy works by using specific wavelengths of blue light to treat affected areas of the body. We are able to treat, for example, the whole face or both arms and hands in a single treatment session. Patients often like the ability to treat whole zones or “fields” of skin with relatively little down time compared to other field treatments.
